The NIMI experiments were conducted over a mesh of 17 measurement
hosts using the bulk transfer capacity [Mathis01] tool.  The NIMI
machines are hosted by research centers and universities.  Of the
17 NIMIs used in our experiments ten are located in the United States,
five in Europe and two in the Far East.

Our dataset from NIMI consists of 2453 valid Reno transfers and
2439 valid SACK/DSACK transfers.  Each transfer consists of 5000
packets, using a packet size of 1500 bytes.  We collect packet
traces from both the sender and receiver and compare them to obtain
the actual drop rate for a given connection.
