Workshop on Application Classification and Identification
The Internet Measurement Research Group (IMRG) held a one day workshop
on the topic of application identification and classification at BBN
Technologies on October 3, 2007. The topic of application identification
has numerous applications from traffic management to provisioning to
security monitoring. A range of researchers with a variety of
backgrounds attended the workshop to further the discussion on the topic.
The abstracts, presentation slides and workshop report are being made
available in hopes of broadening the discussion within the wider
community.
The workshop report
